Meet Carly
“ I’ve always considered your hair to be a big part of who you are and as a result should be something that you love.
At JOI salon, I like to do things differently. My salon allows me to change the way my clients experience their visit to the salon. I believe you should feel special from the moment you walk in and not just the moment you leave, so I have built a relaxed salon with complimentary drinks, custom made furniture and elegant finishes.
I bring with me over 20 years of experience from Clifton Boutique and Central Bristol salons and deliver it to my clients in a personal way. My time and energy is entirely yours.
JOI salon is all about luxury and comfort, whilst delivering that in a sustainable, ethical way. I only use the finest ‘Davines’ products to create beautiful, natural looking hair . Davines products are Sulphate and Paraben free and their colours systems have no Ammonia.

Nicola — Senior Stylist & Extensions Specialist
Meet Nicola
Nicola brings a wealth of experience to JOI Salon, with a background that spans top salons in central Bristol as well as the Nailsea area. Her expertise covers a full range of services, from precision cutting and colour to beautifully applied hair extensions.
With her warm and friendly personality, Nicola ensures every client feels welcome, relaxed, and completely cared for from start to finish.

Wabara — Senior Stylist
Meet Wabara
Originally Steiner-trained, Wabara brings a rich and diverse background to JOI Salon. Her career began aboard luxury cruise liners, where she honed her craft while travelling the world. After returning to Bristol, she opened and ran her own successful city-centre salon alongside her husband for over a decade.
Following the start of her family, Wabara settled in Nailsea, where she has continued to work in local salons, building strong relationships and a loyal clientele throughout the area.

Helen - Senior Stylist
Meet Helen
Helen is passionate about making you feel great about your hair, whether it’s through glamorous, bouncy blowdries, styling long hair into elegant updos, or cutting it short for a fresh look. With over 20 years of experience in salons from London to Clifton, and now living locally in Wraxall, she understands the importance of hair care and its role in your everyday confidence.

Issy is our newest team member and a fresh face in the world of hairdressing. While she’s just beginning her journey, her natural talent and passion for the craft shine through every day. With a warm smile and a genuinely caring approach, Issy makes every client feel comfortable and welcomed. She’s eager to learn, grow, and become a skilled stylist—and we’re thrilled to be part of her exciting journey.
